Be aware, that Ai Routing does not work on this demo server due to missing GPU booking. Weather Routing works but still has a couple of bugs that need improvement. If you try it, please make sure, that you only use waypoints located in water and not on land. If you get that error, that no route can be found, try dragging the waypoints away from shore until it works. Yeah, room for improvement. Anyways, the resoltution of weather data exceeds Predict Wind in the area of Baltic Sea and North Sea. I have 8km and they have 25km resolution. The whole look and feel is going to be oriented at windy app, which leads in visual presentation of weather data.
Why am I doing this? There is no System on the market, that has it all. Multiple Regatta Displays are very pricy and there is no system that streams different displays in parrallel to different displays on the network. There we go! My approach is to built a modular Platform that allows integrate all NMEA2000, Seatalk NG and Seatalk Data Devices, as well as the utilisation of current weather model data. Everything combined in a Yacht Management Dashboard, will give the Skipper all the information at hand that is needed. At the same time the system allows complete control via mobile device integration for crew and geusts. Last but not least, this information system will be able to integrate Satelite communications für sharing and receiving data with minimal throughput. There is a long way to go but I am progressing fast and it is time to form a motivated team for professional mock up and finalization. In case you are stuck in one of the displays: Try swiping with your mouse. It is made for touch use in the cockpit! Not every display has a closing buttuon, yet. So swipe until you see one :)
